Bausan Films S.L. Bausan Films S.L. is a production company that has been based in Barcelona since 1989. It is run by Loris Omedes, and its objective is to make quality audiovisual productions for cinema, television, advertising and the internet. These productions unite art and entertainment helping to define our position in an audiovisual industry which gets more competitive by the day. It must be added that, being one of the main criteria of production, we tackle subjects that contribute to a distinct and committed way of thinking about our society and world truths. From “Balseros”, a documentary feature nominated at the 2003 Oscars®, to “Ashes from the Sky”, fiction winner of the “EARTH GRAN PRIX 2008” Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival, up to the last Goya Award 2009 (Spanish Academy Award) and Gaudí Award 2009 (Catalan Cinema Academy) for best documentary for “Bucharest, memory lost”, Bausan Films has won countless prizes all over the world, strengthening its position as one of the prominent businesses of its kind in Spain..
