Bay View Academy is a co-educational private school located in Karachi, Pakistan. It is registered with the University of Cambridge for O-level examination purposes. Safia Shaikh and Shahpur Jamall established Bay View Academy in 1990. Mrs. Shaikh was at the time running Shaikh’s Montessori, one of the most highly regarded Montessori schools, which she had established in 1984. Mr. Shahpur Jamall returned to Karachi with an M.Ed. in Education from UCLA in 1989. The school began with classes from Nursery to Class VI and the Senior School was later established in 1999. In 2013, Bay View opened a new branch in Clifton. The PECHS branch was opened in 2015. Bay View Academy currently has three campuses across the city with approximately 1600 students. With the assistance of extremely talented and committed faculty, Bay View Academy has earned the reputation of being one of the leading educational institutions in Karachi.
