Bayındır Holding was established in 1991 in order to co-ordinate decision making, management and auditing and strategic planning functions. Establishment of the Holding company have built a solid ground for future development and helped the internal organizational development of the Holding company. With its initiative of reconstruction started in 1996, Bayındır Group has taken important steps to become an institutional corporation. Our experience and knowledge that the works we have completed so far, our specialized staff in a corporate framework will guide us to perform greater achievements that will enable us to provide a better service to our company. During the economic process, which started with IMF Stand-By Agreement, all the sectors have felt the economic contraction and furthermore economic uncertainties fed the deepening crises. During this process, Bayındır took all the necessary measures to utilise existing resources of the Group at most economical and clever way but unfortunately after the event of Bayındırbank’s take over in July 2001, Bayındır got heavily effected from the crises, and forced to face a number of difficulties. Bayındır Group has never given up in the face of these difficulties did not turn her face to the responsibilities and with signing the Financial Restructuring Agreement in October 2002, The Group has finally opened the door for new horizons.
