The blockchain Council of India aims to develop a common approach on Blockchain technology for India in the international arena. The goal of the Council is to grow and enhance the Indian Blockchain community and to further enhance the ecosystem. To achieve this, the Council, through the local community, and industry professionals aims to develop and bring forward activities. The primary objective of the Council is to uplift the Blockchain ecosystem and community and to address the critical skills gap in India with respect to Blockchain technology. The Blockchain Council Of India aims to educate, develop and empower the Blockchain community of India and connect with both global leaders and best practice.Blockchain may bring great improvements in India - from start-ups to large corporates, administrations and citizens. It can enable the provision of more efficient services and the emergence of new ones by: 1. Improving business processes in governments, companies and organisations; 2. Enabling new distributed business and interaction models based on direct peer-to-peer exchanges without the need for centralised platforms or intermediaries.
