The company has developed great expertise in the possible applications of concrete reinforcement and the various techniques of processing the materials on site. The products of Buig Centrale Steenbergen B.V. are utilised in the earth-, road- and building construction industry in the domestic market as well as international. Since 2007 Buig Centrale Steenbergen is part of the ArcelorMittal group. ArcelorMittal is a company active in steel and mining all around the globe. Buig Centrale Steenbergen B.V. processes concrete reinforcement steel in an order driven production with diameters varying between 8 and 50 mm in the following groups; prefab reinforcement, like pile cages and diaphragm walls, barrettes, cuts, bends, welded footplates and non-welded rebar rollmats. Buig Centrale Steenbergen B.V. is specialised in the production of piling cages and welded footplates for all Cast-in-Situ piles. Buig Centrale Steenbergen B.V. can produce piling cages with diameters varying between 100 to 1800 mm with lengths up to 30 meters and a maximum weight of 15 tons. Buig Centrale Steenbergen B.V. also produces rebar cages for diaphragm walls and barrettes with lengths up to 40 meters and widths up to 3,5 meters as for the North-South line in Amsterdam.
