Build. Develop. Empower. (BDE) was founded at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD in January, 2016 with the central mission of building networks, providing skills and training, and delivering educational resources to the surrounding communities and neighborhoods. Student-led from its founding, BDE, an expanding and diverse team of students, professors, and community members, designs and implements programs to make previously inaccessible opportunities and resources available.
