(BDMI) offers comprehensive planning, assessment, design, and construction administration services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems (MEP) engineering. BDMI utilizes quality control procedures developed over many years, from the earliest development of a project to its successful completion. Experienced team members establish the concepts and study alternate schemes. Project Managers assure staffing needs are anticipated early to avoid mistakes inherent in rushed designs. Engineering calculations are confirmed at each stage of design and are updated in detail as design progresses. Weekly in-house design and coordination meetings include periodic plotting of drawings for status updates. MEPF plans are internally coordinated, and coordinated with the architectural, structural, civil plans. Success depends upon the complement of all team members sharing coordination responsibilities in a positive, open way. The ultimate goal is seamless constructability.
