Beacon Charities began much like any other organization: we saw a problem and wanted to fix it. Through prior personal experiences with people in poverty, our team has realized that most people do not work due to low motivation, but rather due to lack of knowledge of basic requirements to be employed: interviewing, resume building, job etiquette, and opening bank accounts. We provide informational pamphlets that go into detail about how to do all of these, plus more. Beacon Charities currently also supplies hygiene products, ranging from feminine needs to basic needs such as toothpaste. Beacon Charities is in the process of becominga 501(c)(3), a tax exempt, tax deductible organization.
