On a mission to reduce food waste while helping consumers save money. Beans is a system to help FMCGs manage their waste more intelligently and, ultimately, reduce it. At our very core, we believe in challenging the status quo by giving a second chance to products that would otherwise be thrown out or, worse, be buried or incinerated. We believe in a world where there is no such thing as waste, only pre-repurposed products. To rephrase the famous idiom, one business’ trash is another person’s treasure. The world of consumer goods and retail, with their rules and regulations around expiry dates, shape and size requirements, promotions, etc. only encourage wasteful consumption. It’s this attitude that leads to unnecessary waste. The only thing better than a win-win, is a win-win-win, right? Time to reset our throwaway society, empower businesses to do better and give consumers their purchasing power back.
