The aim of BEAT is to conduct comprehensive research mainly on:
• the molecular mechanisms of two common neurological disorders; epilepsy and autism (E&A),
• new therapeutic targets for the cure of E&A,
• implementation of behavioral and cognitive tests on laboratory animals,
• behavioral and cognitive comorbidities in neurological disorders, and
• new biomarkers for E&A.
