At the heart of the film are two men from opposite worlds—Babara Bangoura Fakoly, a revered Guinean master drummer, and Doug Manuel, a London-born speaker and former BBC producer whose search for meaning and connection led him to the rhythms and communities of West Africa. Their bond, forged through djembe drumming, transcends race, culture, and geography. But the drum, they discover, is only the beginning.
