I am a keynote speaker at Beats As One, a unique series of interactive keynotes that exponentially drives engagement and collaboration. The content draws on the wisdom of rural West African indigenous cultures and the positive effects that it has on our Western boardrooms and beyond. For nearly three decades, I have been delivering keynotes and running programs in companies, leading business schools, and NGOs around the world to foster purpose-driven engagement and collaboration. I use music, rhythm, incredible imagery and storytelling as powerful tools to create experiential learning and human connection.My journey as a diversity and inclusion expert began more than 25 years ago, when I discovered the music of the djembe, a West African drum, while producing documentaries for the BBC. Since then, I have created and produced Do You Speak Djembe?, an award-nominated stage show that brings together a band of world-class African and international musicians and invites the audience to participate with their own drums. I have also worked with global clients to develop innovative virtual and hybrid solutions and keynotes, such as opening Oprah's 3rd Super Soul Sessions. My mission is to bring more vitality, energy, and passion to individuals and organizations whilst conquering the isolation and loneliness epidemic by sharing the timeless African wisdom and culture that inspires me deeply.
