Beauaraba Living is an aged care facility located just 25 minutes south west of Toowoomba in Queensland. As a not-for-profit and charity status organisation, they rely on philanthropist, government funding and social enterprise to supplement their core business activity of providing community-based aged care.
As a vibrant home to an aged care community of 106, staff of over 100 and volunteers and supporters, Beauaraba Living make a commitment to "Bringing happiness to every day".
An innovative organisation they are currently piloting (and seeking funding for) their Montessori for Dementia program, growing their accommodation to include Supported Living Units, looking for innovative therapies and resources that can reduce the need for medications wherever possible and also are considering a training centre for Rural Excellence in Aged Care Training (REACT). All support and potential partnerships are welcome.
