Beaufort Engineering Services, Inc. (BES, Inc.) is a full-service architecture, engineering and construction firm. BES is dedicated to providing the nation’s leading integrated design and construction services while emphasizing green and sustainable technologies. Our in-house staff of professional architects, multi-discipline engineers, and construction managers enhances project coordination, enabling us to meet our client’s needs from conception to completion. Outstanding quality and building client relationships are our top priorities. BES was established in 1976 as Charles C. Baggs & Associates in Beaufort, SC. One year later, the firm added two partners to form Baggs, Carroll & Stark. In 1979, the firm’s name was changed to Beaufort Engineering Services, Inc. and was then incorporated. In 2000, William Walter Bolton became a partner of BES and then full owner in 2006. Today, Mr. Bolton serves as the President/CEO managing all day to day operations of the firm. Our mission is to build long-term client loyalty by providing the highest level of professional expertise with an emphasis on developing personal relationships.
