Becoming Product Managers

Ask any 10 Product Managers how they've landed their first job and we bet you will get 10 different answers. Getting into Product Management is one of the most difficult things to do in a PM's career. There is no formal learning or clear organizational ladder, and it looks like complete luck (sometimes it is!). Luck is when opportunity meets preparation (Seneca) and we believe that opportunities can be engineered by combining actions with a learning community. We Started BPM to help aspiring PMs learn how to get their first position and evolve as product professionals in the critical first years. We don't believe there is a right answer for every question but we hope that the answers you get will enable you to continue and explore, because that is what the best product managers do. And what if you are already a PM with many years of experience? That's great because just like you fought for your first position, there are thousands who are fighting the same battle now.
