BecoTek Metal Group is a major international producer of bronze and brass castings and machined parts. The Group has the head office at Åmot, Norway, with production facilities in Norway, Sweden, Finland, USA and Romania. Sales are distributed all over the world.
BecoTek Metal Group’s largest shareholder is Norvestor IV L.P., a private equity fund which is advised by Norvestor Equity AS (see www.norvestor.com for more information). The remaining shares are owned by Bjarv AS and management and employees.
The product portfolio includes a variety of brass- and bronze grades, melted and casted by centrifugal casting, continuous casting or sand casting. Most of the products are machined by turning, milling, drilling, deburring.
Brass is produced within the BecoTek-Division, the main product being bearing cages for the ball- and roller bearing industry. Bronze is produced within the Johnson Metall-Division, main products are machined parts for different heavy duty purposes, sliding bronze bearings, bronze tubes and profiles.
