Bee Busy, Inc.

In 2000, Norman Mitchell and Darcy Padgett left their successful entertainment careers in California to fight the epidemic of HIV in Norman’s hometown of Houston, TX. Bee Busy, Inc. was born out of their first effort, a two-person educational play, and has evolved into a 20-person organization with award-winning testing and education programs. We provide HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C testing, in-school sexual health and decision-making classes, a summer camp for local children, and various services for our neighbors in need, all absolutely free. We are committed to working with the community to create a stronger, healthier Houston.
