We primarily work with architectural firms and with mechanical and electrical contractors to design a broad range of mechanical, electrical and public health services for residential an commercial projects. We also partner with larger companies as part of a remote team, and offer contract design services subject to availability. The company name incorporates a number of significant elements for us: ‘Bee’ stands for buildings, energy and environments, but is also a tribute to Manchester’s iconic worker bee, which celebrates the city’s indomitable spirit. As Manchester is the place where Beegreen first began, we wanted to reference that, but also to replicate the hardworking nature of the mighty bee in all aspects of our work. ‘Green’ builds on this idea, as we are dedicated to respecting the environment in all that we do through our sustainable design principals and working practices. By doing so, we protect the living spaces of the busy bee and all those who benefit from the projects we oversee. Building services engineering plays a key part in the way our buildings, energy and environments develop, so ‘Beegreen’ is an exhortation to ourselves and those we work alongside to ensure that the work we do always values people and places over profits.
