Beer Mavens - "Elevated Beer Adventures"

Beer Mavens is a Toronto-based company dedicated to elevating beer experiences through inspired adventures. The emergence of the craft beer scene in North America over the last 30 years has sparked a beer boom in Canada. The current craft beer explosion in North America has created a new type of beer consumer - an individual who is equally curious and discerning. Beer Mavens aims to provide educational beer experiences in various formats, from pub crawls to tasting lectures to dining events featuring beer and food pairings, as well as private cellar consulting. Beer Mavens is made up of Toronto beer aficionados, Andrea Caswell and Cheri Dueck. Caswell and Dueck met while working together as part of the management team at Beerbistro, one of Toronto’s leading beer-focused establishments. It was there that both women became enamored with the international craft beer industry. Both Caswell and Dueck have travelled extensively to breweries and beer festivals around the globe, which has allowed them the unique opportunity to try some of the world’s greatest beers and foster connections with some of the leaders in the craft beer movement. Incidentally, both women have been sworn in to the Order of the Pink Elephant at Brouwerij Huyghe.
