Beermiscuous

Recognized as one of Chicago's top craft beer destinations, Beermiscuous is a café and bottle shop that provides a coffee shop-style atmosphere for exploring craft beer. A curated selection of 16 rotating drafts and more than 400 bottles and cans are served in the café or available for to-go purchase. Beermiscuous opened in June 2014 and it features the largest selection of local beer of any bar in Chicago, with more than 275 local beers from more than 60 Chicagoland breweries. Named "Best Chicago Bottle Shop" by The Hop Review in 2017, Beermiscuous provides the widest variety of options for creating your own mix-and-match six-pack as all of its beers are available by the single bottle or can. Beermiscuous has also been named one of Chicago's "Best Beer Bars" by Thrillist and one of Chicago's "Best Event Spaces" by Crain's Chicago Business in 2015 and 2016. The local beer experts at Beermiscuous published a book in 2017. The Beermiscuous Field Guide:The Ultimate Adventurer's Guide to Craft Brewery Taprooms + Brewpubs was the first comprehensive resource for planning a visit to more than 100 taprooms and brewpubs in the Chicagoland area. An updated, second edition with 117 brewery listings was released in summer 2018. Beermiscuous is located at 2812 North Lincoln Avenue in Lakeview. A second Beermiscuous location opened in the North Shore suburb of Highwood in October 2018.
