Beetbox Food Co-operative

Beetbox Food Co-operative is a community action group operating in Canterbury, aimed to increase students' consumption of healthy food, at affordable prices for all. Beetbox is volunteer-based, non for profit, and student-led. We provide weekly veg bags on a non-subscription basis at The University of Kents' campus. We host community-building socials and events. We liaise with the community garden and collaborate with a variety of student groups. Our vision for 2020 is to expand and fine-tune our start-up into something that can be replicated by other students across the UK. We believe that everyone should have the choice to eat a sustainable, healthy diet.
