Before 16 is a nonprofit foundation built to care for orphans. We partner with orphan hosting organizations and help bring children into communities to give them the opportunity of being introduced to potential "forever families". We strive to get these children hosted by a family who is either considering adoption or will advocate for adoption. Our hope is that the hosting process can provide the avenue to find a loving family for each child. We are dedicated to rescuing as many orphans as possible before they turn 16 years old. In many countries, orphans age out of the system at 16 and can find themselves in vulnerable situations without support.
Our efforts are focused on:
-Growing awareness of the Global Orphan Crisis
-Raising funds to assist families by offering $2,000 grants to host
-Helping recruit families willing to advocate and/or pursue adoption
-Assist families in getting orphans vital health care (dental, vision)
