The Behavioral Investing Institute aims to provide practical tools and processes, designed by Toews Asset Management, for managing investor behavior in an attempt to bridge the gap between inspiration and implementation. Based on years of research in behavioral economics, rules-based investing, and goals-based investing, the Behavioral Investing Institute developed Behavioral Portfolio Design™. This program aims to help advisors guide clients through market disruptions, as well as become behavioral coaches for their clients. Through workshops and one-on-one coaching, the Behavioral Investing Institute’s programs strive to improve advisors’ abilities to recondition their clients’ perceptions of and emotional responses to various market cycles, aiming to improve the advisor-client relationship.
