Launched in November of 2020, Behind the Filter is a female-owned and operated news source for social media. Our founder, Nastacia Nickolaou, believed there was a need to create a news station for the 21st century; one that reflects how fame has shifted online. Behind the Filter strives to answer, "What is it really like to be a celebrity on the internet? And how are these influencers able to make so much money?" We strive to bring the human story to the cut-throat industry that is entertainment.
