بهنوش ایران اولین و بزرگترین تولیدکننده ماءالشعیر در ایران است. این شرکت در سال ۱۳۴۵ با نام «مالتای ایران» تاسیس شد و پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی با فرآوری ماءالشعیر غیر الکلی و تغییر نام به بهنوش ایران فعالیتش را ادامه داد. بهنوش ایران با ۱ کارخانه و ۱ خط تولید ماءالشعیر آغاز به کار کرد
.اما اکنون ۹ کارخانه و ۱۸ خط تولید انواع نوشیدنی در گستره ایران عزیز دارد.
