Macro is a Spanish Food and Wine Trading company with an important growth in sales and wholesale at the Chinese Market. Our competitive advantage lies on our Team staff that possesses a broad knowledge of both cultures due to the experience of living in Spain for more than 20 years. When we returned to China, we realized that there was a lack of high-quality Spanish products, and people knew little about the great variety of Spanish gastronomy. It was stablished in 2016 and our headquarter is located in Qingtian (Zhejiang), also we have branches in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shandong. In 2019, we received the award for the Best Entrepreneurial Company granted by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China. We work with Spanish brands with a clear long-term objective and collaborate with several brands that are popular in Spain to promote their products in China. At the moment we have collaboration with Cinco Jotas (we are one of its few official distributors in the country and we are the largest in terms of annual sales volume), Ibéricos Torreón (premium Iberian ham and sausages), Bodegas Proelio (Rioja), Nivarius (Rioja), Bodegas Trus (Ribera del Duero), Viñedos y Bodegas Pablo (Cariñena) and Sierra de Utiel (extra virgin olive oil). Certainly, we are open for new brands cooperation from different Spanish Denominations of Origin or premium Spanish products that complement our portfolio and can be paired with Iberian ham. It is important to mention that we ONLY work with companies that have a LONG-TERM VISION and want to create and promote BRAND IMAGE in China. Also, they must need to be EXISTING BRANDS in Spain (since we spend a lot of time and money in promoting the brand in the country). We have distributors throughout China and currently we also work with online platforms such as Tmall and Taobao. We have collaboration with the exclusive supermarket Olé, that specialized in imported products.
