Being Liberal® (BL) is among the largest and most active Social Media communities of liberally minded people active online. We run the oldest continuously active liberal page on Facebook, posting daily since November 5th, 2009 We have a steadily growing fan base (500,000 as of Jan 1st, 2013, 1,700,000 in Dec. 2018) and a constant amount of Total Interactions, and Interactions Rate (metrics of the true audience engagement) usually several times higher than the Web publishing industry average. Since 2009 the brand has become well known in Social Media. Our main publishing stream is Being Liberal Facebook Page reaching over 12 million people on Facebook weekly. Being Liberal is also present on Instagram, Medium, Tumblr, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. Being Liberal is owned by Huddled Masses Media LLL, a Washington State company. Billions of dollars worth of investment poured into the denigration of the term and into framing the word "Liberal" as a derogatory epithet.
