Bel-Aqua has consistently been awarded the coveted 'Water of the Year' title at the Ghana Beverage Awards, winning in 2017, 2018, 2019, and most recently in 2022.
Our journey to create Bel-Aqua was not a hasty one. It took over a year of dedicated effort by the skilled team at BLOW-CHEM, as we recognized the paramount role that water plays in sustaining a healthy life. We were committed to setting a new standard in the world of bottled water, one that prioritized quality and innovation.
To achieve this, we embarked on a global quest for knowledge, engaging with water industry leaders worldwide to grasp the most advanced water treatment technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and cutting-edge bottling processes. In our pursuit of excellence, we even enlisted the expertise of former Nestle Pure Life Water employees as consultants to ensure our plant was established in line with world-class standards.
Acknowledging that not every region of the world possesses access to abundant, high-quality natural underground water, we decided to use municipal water as our primary source in Kpone, Ghana. Our diligence in quality control was unwavering. As per evaluations conducted by the National Testing Laboratories in the United States, the source water from Kpone was already of high quality, requiring minimal filtration. However, we opted not to leave anything to chance.
Bel-Aqua's commitment to providing superior quality drinking water led us to establish a comprehensive 14-stage advanced treatment plant.
Once the water meets our exceptionally high standards of purity, we go a step further by enriching it with natural minerals.
