I am a tech advocate and enthusiast first. I am pro-innovation and pro-early adoption. I follow the ground’s breaking and stories developing every week in consumer and speculative tech spaces… But we need to start seeing different stories. News consists only of the abnormal. Kudos to those creating tech that detects and amplifies speech directed at the auditorily impaired. I’ll support the smartwatch that can detect a stroke, call an ambulance, and offer minutes to prepare for medical aid… But I cannot sit idly by as social platforms mine engagement through enragement. I cannot freeze as technology innovates without intention. Let’s tell a different story together, today.
