BenX is a fintech at the forefront of driving financial inclusion and resilience within the low to middle mass market to improve access to affordable loans, increase savings and generational wealth building assets. It can be argued that a country can only grow if it has an increasing and more financially resilient middle class. Unfortunately, this is not the case in most emerging markets due to rising unemployment rates, lack of access to formal financial products and constrained incomes. Almost 70% of South Africa's adult population is precluded from financial products that would enhance their financial wellbeing due to having no or a poor credit score. After excluding individuals living below the poverty line, this equates to 20 million adults. BenX has developed the Builder product range to address this issue and leverage prepaid cellular, rent and subscription expenses to create, repair or build credit scores without the need for additional cash requirements. Our signature product, CreditBuilder, enables an individual to grow an emergency cash fund while building their credit score at the same time. BenX partners with financial service providers to assist their existing and potential customers to rectify their credit scores in order to qualify for financial products without any change needed to internal risk-decisioning models.
