BENEVOLAT POUR L'ENFANCE (Benevolence for Children), known as BENENFANCE is a Christian Nonprofit Organization, incorporated in Congo (DRC) and Uganda and headquartered in Goma (North-Kivu). Why are we about children Because God loves children and so do we. And very child deserves a loving family-that's where children thrive best-but so many children don't have this blessing. Our Vision: We dream to see a world where children and families thrive. Our Mission: To improve the well-being of children and families through benevolence. We believe in a world where we build on the core strengths of children, their families, and communities, to create dignity, long term assets, and justice for all. We are dedicated to improving the well-being of children and youth through: -Child Protection -Education for life -Health Care -Church Empowerment -Child and Youth Engagement -Women Empowerment Our Statement of faith: We believe that any work is an opportunity to serve GOD. So, whatever we do, we do it not "as unto men, but unto God." -Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV) Our Approach: We describe ourselves as "faith-based but not faith-biased". Whilst we are motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we indiscriminately serve people of all faiths and none. Our Goals for every child: Across the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and around the world, we are shining Christ's love into hard places and striving to give children a lovely environment and a better future. Our Goals are to: -Increase the well-being of vulnerable children and youth -Advance the planning and development of child and youth friendly families and communities -Grow opportunities for children and youth to be heard and included.
