Bennett was founded on October 14, 1954. In the beginning we concentrated our activities on the manufacture of molds for aluminum and plastic parts. As of 1972, we directed our efforts toward the field of electro-mechanical motor production which experienced growing importance in Spain, especially as concerned electro-domestic appliances. In the course of time, we accumulated vast experience and know-how in the manufacture of winding and inserting tools. Beginning with 1985, this led us to expand to new markets so that actually we are exporting to more than 35 countries in five continents. Worldwide we are counting the most important producers of electric motors among our customers. At the turn of the new century, in 2000, Bennett set itself new goals and the most important one was to be able to offer our customers complete and comprehensive service. This meant that together with them we had to exploit new ways to develop novel winding tools for high-efficiency motors and to accelerate production time of our spare parts as much as possible. In order to be able to achieve these goals, we needed new production facilities and in August of 2000, we completed the move to our present location in Cerdanyola del Vallés (Barcelona), where we dispose of some 1300 m2 of work space. In the years following the move, we invested heavily in ultra-modern machinery used in the manufacture of tools and spare parts to guarantee the highest quality standards our customers demand. In 2004, we received the ISO 9001-2000 Certificate issued by the TÜV Rheinland making us the first company in our field worldwide to receive this certification.
