While behavioral coaching is an oft-used means for coping with client emotions, it is often used reactively, rather than proactively. Behavioral coaching in the moment is most effective when clients have been prepared in advance. Our firm is uniquely prepared to help you improve the probability of a positive investor and investment experience. We advocate for a strategic, long-term investment horizon; a reliance on diversification and asset allocation as our most reliable risk management tools; a preference for low-cost strategies and solutions to enhance returns; an understanding that markets are largely efficient; and that an investor's success is often influenced more by his or her behavior than by their portfolios. Prospective clients of Bennyhoff & Co. who believe strongly in market timing or trading are typically not well suited to work with our firm.
