Interior Design is not just the making of a beautiful space, it involves years of experience, tireless research, and constant observations for better ways to live. Interior design is a collaborative process between clients and designer, as well as the architect, contractor, and tradespeople. Understanding our clients' unique needs, desires, and opinions is our most important consideration. We combine function, comfort, individual details, and sometimes humor for a successful interior design. In 1985, Chris Benson worked as an interior designer at the world-renowned Architects Collaborative in Cambridge, MA, when a room he designed for the Junior League of Boston's Decorator Showhouse was featured in the Boston Globe. This led to interviews, commissions, and establishment of an office in downtown Boston. For over 40 years, Benson Interiors stands as a leading member of the interior design community. Chris still has a working relationship with that initial client, and has successfully completed work on dozens of residential, vacation, and commercial properties throughout the United States.
