I have been on the hunt for a beautiful leather belt for well over a decade to no avail! Women's belts have too much bling. Men's belts are utterly uninspired. A combination of frustration and serendipity has lead to the creation of my new belt line. I've applied my jewelry design skills to a pair of beautiful clean line buckles to compliment the seven belt designs I am taking to production.
Benta belts are for both men and women. They are hand crafted of top quality leather. In addition to the custom buckles, these belts have subtle asymmetric design elements embroidered on to the leather. The initial product line will include seven styles (one with no embroidery) offered on black and saddle tan leather. All aspects of the production of this line are sourced and manufactured in the United States.
I'm launching Benta Belts in June 2016 through A Kickstarter campaign. My target market is the change agents, the entrepreneurs and the leaders in their chosen fields, all of whom appreciate both quality and design. The belts will be offered at a discount for the initial Kickstarter campaign. Prototypes are on schedule to be competed May 20, 2016.
