Berkeley Hyperloop is now Formula Electric at Berkeley! A new name, a new competition, yet the same talent working tirelessly in the name of sustainable transport and UC Berkeley! The Hyperloop competition was an engineering challenge that is a revolutionary solution to many environmental and social problems. The concept is especially innovative for the United States, as public forms of transit are not as developed across large distances. Together, Berkeley Hyperloop was the first and foremost team to leverage a build process that upholds safety as our core foundation. Berkeley Hyperloop's last competition was the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition in the Summer of 2019. Now, our team is striving to develop and test our electric race car for the FSAE EV Competition in the Summer of 2021.
