Bermuda Trail Mix

Amongst a saturated market of yummy and nostalgic homemade goods, Bermuda Trail Mix has had to prove itself worthy amongst the big dawgs, with great taste and healthier snack options. Founded in 2021, we first introduced our product as a lunch time snack run in the City of Hamilton, the first selection of flavours - Crunchy Craving and Smackin' Smores were an immediate success. Everyone that was willing to try our new snacks were in for a sweet and savoury treat. Often purchased as "something to try" with a significant other or family/ children, returning customers were sure to double or triple their order from their previous. Thanks to our first retail partnerships at Rubis East Broadway Service Station, Treats Ltd., and Roy's Fine Foods, our exposure grew quickly. Unfortunately in 2022, when the prices of food increased, in addition to some meaningful conversations with veteran business owners about the stability of the business, we made the uncomfortable decision to increase our prices. Our quickly populating, well packaged and tasty product quickly experienced a plummet in sales and for months we wandered the fate of the business - there were even considerations to dissolve the company. Fortunately, we listened to our junior co-founder who advised against quitting and we are glad we did. In the interim new opportunities have become available to our small and unique business. Within this space we look forward to sharing our growth with you while building new business connections and relations, establishing and introducing new offers while gunning for our international distribution, one bite at a time!
