The Bureau of Economic Research and Policy Development (BERPD) is a research-based consulting organization which acts as a consorted platform to deliberate upon spearheading independent, stark and critical research and analysis on the imperatives and impediments faced by the Indian and the global economy. The Center, established in 2018, is based in New Delhi with a simple yet robust agenda to promote the policy advocacy and expedite the developmental agenda of the nation. The reports and analysis conducted under the aegis of BERPD are driven by multi-disciplinary intellectuals including economists and analysts under the guidance of global thinkers. Our work is centered on the motto of “Research, Reinvigorate, Reform, and Revolutionize.” BERPD envisions creating a proactive environment for India’s policy advocates and protagonists. BERPD is envisioned to function as a knowledge partner to policymakers, decision making bodies, research institutions, industry bodies and associations, among others, providing extensive research-based advisory on various domestic, global and other contemporary issues. It also engages itself in the equitable dissemination of information pertaining to the developments in the socio-economic arena, macroeconomic arena, international trade and investments, global developments and infrastructural health. Through its representations' strategy, BERPD aims to provide policy recommendations to various stakeholders like government ministries, industry chambers, social institutes, stakeholder associations, among others. The BERPD team is a consortium of consultants, economists, researchers, analysts, among others, who are constantly engaged in assessing the current economic scenario, both nationally and internationally, and consistently engaged in brainstorming and developing upon new ideas of research on diverse subjects for the betterment of the society and the economy at large.
