Better Angels

Better Angels is an educational nonprofit dedicated to helping motivated, low-income students maximize their chances of admission to their dream schools. We focus on high-achieving high school students based in Los Angeles and interested in applying to top 50 colleges with the ability to offer strong financial aid packages. Though officially founded in 2011, our team has been working with students pro bono for over 20 years. We help students attend their dream schools, positively impact the world, and inspire change in their home communities. Throughout the journey, we work to develop tools of reflection, courage, hard work, and self-advocacy that will serve Scholars during their college years and beyond. We support our students through college to ensure they graduate. Training Workshops: We love sharing our knowledge of the college application process with other CBOs, schools and organizations.
