The mission behind Better Living Projects is to create new skills and decent employment with a stable income for women in India, through sales of sustainable textile products to businesses in Norway.
Better Living is a full fledged production agency, an agile start-up that not only delivers personalised promotional products of top standard, but can bring your product from the ideation phase through design, production and delivery. We are currently filling production orders in for more than 20 businesses all over Norway.
We produce the perfect textile products for promoting your business. If your business cares about sustainability, then we want to take you on a journey of good conscience. To this day, we deliver highly solid and reuse-friendly totebags, t-shirts as well as aprons in three different models. All our products can be personalised with prints and are made of 100% organic cotton canvas (GOTS-certified).
The products are made by labors under fair work conditions and decent wages, in line with the ILO convension. All our products are made, printed and finished in India, in one of our two unique textile production sites. We have established our very own textile production in one of Indias poorest states, Bihar. In a small village outside of Bodh Gaya, we have trained and hired 12 women in less than one year. In this way, we create jobs in an area where about 80% of women are excluded from the work force. We collaborate with a GOTS-certified factory in New Delhi, run by a brilliant and talented women, who actively works for a sustainable textile industry.
