Having worked in small businesses most of life as well as being the owner of a busy photography studio, I have seen the highs and lows that owners experience, and also being part of a rural community I speak to consistently with other business owners around the challenges they face in the market today. One of the most common themes we discuss is financial operations. So many tell me that they struggle with getting this done, they don’t really enjoy it, and don’t really want to understand how it all works, BUT they realize the vital importance it holds to remaining compliant and also the ability to see if their business is actually healthy. When this happens the business falls into crisis: *They think they have more money then they do *Not across creditors that are due *When Tax time comes, they haven’t planned and don’t have cash to be compliant *Make rash decisions, based on gut instinct, not on fact and this ends up costing the business These are just a few, but the symptoms are many. What I want to share with you, is that business does not have to be like this. In fact, having a business that has their financial operations in place and compliant allows the business owner the space they need to focus on the things they need to do, and can 100% focus on development, growth and looking after their customers.
