BevBoost ™ is the brainchild of Matt Cutter founder of Upslope Brewing Company. As an industry veteran and craft beer visionary, Matt watched countless brewing technologies emerge over the years. But despite making strides, no one had figured out how to preserve the intense hoppiness of a fresh-brewed IPA.
In the summer of 2023, Matt decided to create the wave he’d been waiting for. Inspired by the principle of nitro widgets, he worked with Boulder Engineering Studios to create a dual-chambered device that infused hop extract into beer at the exact time of consumption. Matt and his head brewer at Upslope were impressed by how this technique not only revitalized the beer’s hoppy flavor and aroma but also masked the effects of oxidation. They knew this was going to be big. It was just the boost that the beverage industry needed.
