Beyco “Beyond Coffee” is a global coffee connection and trading platform based on blockchain technology. Beyco makes it easier to trade and creates transparency in the worldwide coffee supply chain. It is free to use for coffee buyers and sellers. Roasters and traders can register as buyers. Producer organizations, cooperatives, associations and farmer companies can register as sellers. Beyco is created in order to respond to the needs from coffee sellers to get in touch with international buyers and to the demand from coffee buyers to find reliable partners. Buyers and sellers from all over the world can connect directly with each other and trade their coffee on Beyco. By trading through the platform, data is stored safely and can be shared privately with other partners. This helps sellers and buyers to build up a track record and have all their information in a clear overview. Being transparent by sharing data and creating direct connections generates trust among all stakeholders. Existing relationships can be digitalized to generate a track record as well.
