Since its launch in March 2021, we’ve transformed food access in the NHS. In 2020, during the pandemic's first wave, it served 300,000 meals across 146 UK hospitals with a team of 100 volunteers. Amidst the first wave of the pandemic in March 2020, we served 300,000 meals across 146 hospitals in 75 UK towns and cities in just 99 days. Powered by 100 passionate volunteers, we made a significant impact when it mattered most. In March 2021, we launched Meals for the NHS, introducing the first smart fridge into the NHS, providing staff with convenient and affordable access to food. We've since expanded to partner with 8 NHS Trusts, over 9 sites, offering round-the-clock nutritious food for invaluable NHS staff.
