Beyond Patriarchy

Beyond Patriarchy creates pathways for men* to learn about patriarchy and build alternatives. We host collective learning journeys with men* to understand how they are entangled in patriarchal structures and what they can do to create futures beyond patriarchy. For too long men have left the work of dismantling patriarchy – a system of male domination – to women and other marginalised folx. While most men do not consider themselves patriarchs, and most do not knowingly cause harm, their complicity in patriarchal structures prevents real transformations from happening. We need men to acknowledge the harm that patriarchy inflicts on society (including themselves) and care-fully share responsibility for building alternatives.
