For 10 years now, we at Beyond Stigma have been working in Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Ireland. We work with those most marginalized in their societies - people living with HIV, sex workers, people who are obese and those affected by gender-based violence and tuberculosis. We work in partnership with organisations on the ground on eliminating self-stigma, by addressing deeply held judgements and self-beliefs which negatively impact quality of life, physical and mental health and which prevent people accessing life-saving care and treatment, taking life opportunities and living healthy, productive lives.
