My name is Deborah Sgro, and I coach women in technology, like you, to confidently advance your career. As a pioneer from the financial technology world, who advanced from junior programmer to senior technical program manager, I have insider experience on technical career advancement. I worked on Wall Street for four decades at both the New York Stock Exchange and then BNY Mellon. I am solidly grounded in computational science, and technology management having received two Master of Science degrees from Steven’s Institute of Technology. I am certified from the Project Management Institute as a Project Manager, and an Agile Career Professional. I am also certified as a Career Service Provider from the National Career Development Association. Through my current practice, I see clients privately, or as part of peer-mentoring groups. I also appear as a guest speaker for numerous women employee resource groups. Why I want this for you? Now more than ever, women require career self-advocacy skills. After decades of excelling educationally and professionally, women still make up only 25% of the computing industry, and struggle to reach beyond mid-level positions.
