Beyond DV Ltd Overview

Empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their lives Beyond DV Ltd was founded after our daughter was involved in a Domestic Violence incident early in 2017. Accompanying our daughter to court on numerous occasions and witnessing the number of women going through the same traumatic process , had a profound impact on our family and in particular my wife Carolyn. This ignited a desire for Carolyn to use her existing skills, expertise and contacts to help women and children who have been affected by Domestic Violence. Beyond DV Ltd is is a registered as a company, registered as an official charity and public benevolent institution with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission and has been granted deductible gift receipt status from the Australian Taxation Office. Carolyn (Founder/Director of Beyond DV Ltd) works as a teacher for two days a week and volunteers the rest of her time to run the charity. Carolyn and myself funded the start-up and ongoing cost of the charity. We would appreciate any questions from potential corporate sponsors. https://www.beyonddv.org.au/
