Beyond the Scale is a transformative initiative co-founded by Elle Mace and Ellie Boatman, dedicated to redefining the conversation around food, body image, and performance in sport. We support athletes—from grassroots to elite levels—by tackling the complex and often hidden struggles surrounding disordered eating and body image in sport. Through education, lived experience, and professional expertise, we shine a light on practical solutions, provide trauma-informed tools, and empower individuals to thrive both physically and mentally. Our Mission To create a sporting culture where athletes can perform at their highest level while maintaining a healthy, confident relationship with food and body image.
