BFC Forex and Financial Services Pvt Ltd (BFC Forex) was established in 2009 and is part of BFC Group Holdings, the parent company to Bahrain Financing Company (BFC) in Bahrain and Bahrain Exchange Company (BEC) in Kuwait.
It is licensed as a Full Fledged Money Changer (FFMC) granted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and specialize in buying and selling foreign currency to retail, corporate and wholesale customers including, RBI authorized FFMC’s, AD II’s, Banks and travel agents.
It has the ability to export surplus foreign currency notes to overseas banks through our own export center in Cochin and in addition are approved by the RBI to import foreign currency notes to cover shortfalls due to heavy demands during peak seasons.
Under the Money Transfer Service Scheme (MTSS), BFC Forex is authorized to undertake cross-border money transfers into India and is the sub-agent for MoneyGram, Western Union, TransFast and Ria Money.
